An email mailbox provides an inbox for an email address on your domain. Incoming messages are stored in the mailbox, which is created in your domain's cPanel hosting account.
Hosting requirement: Your domain must use our shared hosting service or a free hosting account provided by us to create a mailbox through the customer panel.
Your domain's MX record must route incoming email to the IP address assigned to your domain. The MX record should point to a mail server hostname that resolves to that IP address.
If your domain uses our private nameservers, our system has already configured the required MX record.
In the customer panel, go to Domains.
Select the domain group that contains your domain.
Find the domain and click Actions to open the domain overview.
Select the Email Addresses tab to view your existing email addresses.
Click Add Email address.
In the Type dropdown, select Mailbox in hosting account.
Enter the email address you want to create. For example, you can create info@example.com to receive messages sent to that address.
The password field already contains an automatically generated strong password. You can use this password or click the generate button to generate a new one.
Store the password securely so you can use it to access the mailbox. You can also automatically log into your mailbox directly from your cPanel account.
Save your changes to create the mailbox in your cPanel hosting account.
Each mailbox is created with a default storage limit of 500 MB. You can change this limit in your cPanel account after the mailbox has been created.
Send a test email to the new address and check that it arrives in the mailbox.
