Connecting to cPanel times out, what to do?

The following reasons will produce a timeout error while trying to connect to cPanel:

You are connecting to the wrong port. cPanel port is 2082; make sure your URL looks like: https://pbn5.priorityprospect.com:2083/

Your IP address has been temporarily blocked. If that's the case, contact our support and then us your IP address. We will unblock your IP, and you can access cPanel again.

Temporary IP blocks can happen when there are too many invalid login attempts to: cPanel, FTP, or webmail.

The server has a high load. Unfortunately, it's possible that our cPanel server is experiencing a very high load, which is why your request times out.

If you still experience timeouts, contact our support, and we will help you.
