My Requests To xmlrpc.php Are Forbidden - What To Do?
Posted by Support Agent, Last modified by Support Agent on 13 November 2017 06:34 PM

By default, we block all XML-RPC requests. That's because most people don't need it and don't use it, but bad bots, hackers, and others like to use Wordpress XML-RPC protocol.

This blocking happens at the network level, and those requests will never reach the cPanel server. That's why you cannot allow access to xmlrpc.php in your .htaccess file.

To allow your requests through the network, you must whitelist your IPs. You can do it by visiting your profile by clicking on "Profile" in the sidebar and then "Profile" tab.
